Start Blogging in 2024
Start BEFORE you feel ready
It is time to start blogging. I have postponed this decision for a while now for different reasons. But as James Clear explains in his article, successful people start before they feel ready.
Here are a few reasons why it’s important to start before you feel ready:
- You’ll never feel completely ready. There will always be something else you could learn or prepare for, so just start and take things one step at a time.
- You’ll learn and grow as you go. By starting and taking action, you’ll gain valuable experience and knowledge that you can use to improve and build upon.
- You’ll build momentum. Once you start, it’s easier to keep going and make progress.
- We all start in the same place: no money, no resources, no audience, no experience. The difference is that winners choose to start anyway.
Overall, it’s better to stop procrastinating and take the first step towards your goals.
Blogging can be fun
Writing your first blog post can be intimidating, but it can also be a fun and rewarding experience. It is easier if you have a topic you are passionate about and enjoy writing about. Then you have to set aside dedicated time to write, and based on the feedback from others you can improve your writing.
In this blog, I will not stress too much about perfection because it’s about just having fun. This blog will share everything I learned from working for different clients over the past thirteen years. It will be about how to build great software using programming languages and cloud technologies.
Is it worth it to start blogging?
Whether or not it is worth starting blogging depends on your personal goals and motivations. As I mentioned before, blogging can be a fun and rewarding hobby. It can also be a way to share your thoughts, ideas, and experiences. However, it is important to note that blogging takes time and effort. And it may be challenging to build a large audience and generate income from your blog if this is your primary goal.
My main expectation for this blog is to share what I’m learning with you, as this is a powerful way to grasp new concepts faster while sharing them with others. Therefore, I’m prepared to put in the work needed to grow and maintain it.
